We are two adults and two kids aged below 6years.I have planned to take SGD 6000 in hand for expenses in singapore/malaysia(we hve planned to stay wth our frnd house in singapore,but for malaysia we had arranged a hotel(4 3days),so total we will be there in singapore for 11days.Will the amount i plan to take is suffiecinet or should i have more.I do not intednd to do hi fi shopping,but defintely plan for city tour,butteryfly park,eating out,zoo visit,gardens,merlion visit etc.Is 6000 SGD sufficient or should I go for more.If they how much money should I carry.Please advise

it really depends on the amount of shopping you are going to do. if you are not planning of buying much things or expensive items, and if you don't have to pay for accommodations, it should be more than sufficient.
there are many money changers in singapore too. if you are concerned, then bring some of your local cash with you. you can change more if you need them.

since u dun ve 2 pay 4 d accomodations, SGD6000 is sufficient 2 cover ur stay here. with dis money, u can even go 4 some shopping n expensive food. it cost less than SGD100 entrance fee for ur whole family 2 each attractions spot.
