What are some good ideas of gift that i can give to my friends in China.
Im a singaporean in singapore. i just got back from an exchange with a school there. im thinking of giving my friends there some things more representative of local culture (or at least, something found in the malay penisula).
I don't want to send them things like Merlion merchandises (keychain, plush) as these things do not carry any significance if they have not visited Singapore before. (anyway, these things feel like some fake, created culture for the country)
im preparing to send it over by mail, so a light/small item would be nice.
an additional note. if you are a chinese, what do you think you would like to receive from a friend from overseas?
please tell me what would be a good gift, and where i can likely get them.
